Fermentis, above all, relies on a competent team of specialists able to satisfy customers’ current needs and anticipate future expectations. Fermentis also has effective infrastructures and production facilities to implement effective quality management systems able to provide both service and innovation for their customers.
Food safety & traceability
Fermentis makes no compromise with regard to the food safety of its commercial products. The food safety management system relies on the effective application of the HACCP method together with strict, adapted good hygiene practices. An appropriate traceability system has been developed in order to meet the requirements relating to availability of information and crisis management.
Quality and Product Conformity
The intrinsic quality of the products is rigorously tested in our laboratories in order to verify the product conformity against the technical specifications. Fermentis also carries out application tests whereby reproducing the actual conditions of use of our yeast: such as the EBC tubes for the brewers’ yeast, the foam test for the sorghum yeast or the alcoholic fermentation test for the strains destined for alcohol production.
